The TMNT Technodrome was one of my favorite playsets as a kid. It was absolutely humungous, held a ton of figures, and has all kinds of awesome functions to let you take your imaginary battles to the next level.
You could easily fit at least 10 figures on in this thing, all taking advantage of the various features in one way or another. Figures could man the helm, which controls the giant eye on the top. Sit in a cockpit, get tied to a spinning death wheel, lay on an examination bed, hang out in the armory, man the guns, get locked up in jail, or take a bath in the slime pit! This thing alone could keep me busy for hours.
To take it to the next level though, the Technodrome actually connected to the Sewer Playset. If you were lucky enough to have both sets, you were going to be the talk of the neighborhood for at least a week!
The two sets connected through green sewer pipes that where included with the Sewer Playset. The pipes connected directly to the jail cell, so the bodacious foursome could make a daring escape!
Once connected, between the two, you could probably fit 20+ figures creating the best afternoon play time of a child’s life!
I have fond memories of those two sets. I still love to set them up every now and then, and reminisce about memories past.
